US slaps sanctions against 3 Russians over meddling in elections

WASHINGTON, Sep 10 (PRIME) -- The U.S. has introduced sanctions against three Russian citizens and a Ukrainian citizen over alleged cyber meddling in elections, the Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Thursday.

“The following individuals have been added to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) special designation nationals list: Andreyev, Anton Nikolaeyvich (Russia); Aslanova, Darya Dmitriyevna (Russia); Derkach, Andrii Leonidovych (Ukraine); Lifshits, Artem Mikhaylovich (Russia),” the statement read.
